Tropical Ideas for Styling

When thinking about tropical style big palms and green leaves come to mind, but sometimes it is the subtle palms, candy colours and jungle that can bring tropical styling to life.

Here are some of our tips to introduce tropical style to your home...

1. NATURAL CANE + PLANTS

Natural cane furniture works well to accompany tropical prints, sitting alongside geometric and plain solid assortments. Tropical plants for example, devils ivy ~ a  beautiful trailing plant, will help to create movement and enhance the tropical feel to any interior

2. ANIMAL PRINTS
When we think of jungle, we think tropical. An animal print brings the wilderness inside and adds a bold contrast to let the imagination wander with all things wild and exotic
3. CANDY COLOURS
Mixing bold candy colours with subtle neutrals helps to highlight certain decorative pieces. Use of bold golden yellows, distinct greens and pale turquoise on neutral backgrounds, helps to make the candy colours pop
4. BLUSH AND FLORALS
Mixing tropical floral jungle prints amongst bashful blush pinks brings a relaxing and serene tone to the wild tropics. Florals, for example, one of our favourites, the hibiscus add to the tropical nature element
5. SURFERS PARADISE
What better way to highlight the tropics than with the addition of a surfboard to add the right look, when styling the interior of your tropical paradise
